Frequently asked questions
The turnaround time from sales to completion for a logo is usually 2-3 weeks depending on my workload, which we will discuss before making any payments. Timescales also depend on response time and any additional design changes.
After the design stage, you will receive 3 logo choices based on the agreed goals. After the final payment is made, you own the copyright of the final agreed design.
That’s not a problem.
When you receive your first set of designs, I’ll explain why design decisions were made. You’ll then have the chance to comment on them and ask for changes if needed.
You’re welcome to request as many revisions as you’d like, but the typical project scope includes up to 4 revisions. If additional revisions are needed beyond this, they’ll be charged for each revision round and added to the final invoice.
Once the logo design has been completed and payment has been received, the copyright in the final approved logo is transferred to you automatically. If necessary, I can provide you with a copy of the copyright transfer document so that you can rest assured that the copyright is transferred to you
In terms of copyright protection, the copyright holder retains exclusive rights in the design for printing, display and distribution of the logo.
This is what is transferred to you and means that you can do with the logo as you wish. All I ask is that you allow me to include the logo as an example in my portfolio.
